New construction homes predominate in Shady Acres. It is not an area of renovated homes. The original homes are rarely worth renovating and aren’t architecturally unique.Both Free-standing homes and townhomes are being built.
Because the original Shady Acres lots were large, builders re-plat them and put up 4-6 new homes on small lots.
There are 8 or 9 builders currently constructing new single family homes in Shady Ares plus a couple more putting up townhomes.
This post focuses on free-standing homes, not townhomes.
